How is the price calculated?
Pricing depends on the tile size, number of names, and frame size you choose. Bigger layouts and more names use more tiles and materials, so the price adjusts accordingly.

What are the material used to create the frame?
Each frame is handcrafted using a blend of laminated MDF and solid pine wood, offering a smooth finish with a natural wooden touch.
When will I get my order?
Each Family Name Art frame takes around 10–15 working days to complete upon payment. Need it sooner? Express delivery (minimum 3 days) is available — just message us to arrange it (extra charges apply).
Where are your products manufactured and what is the shipping cost?
All our frames are handmade locally in Malaysia 🇲🇾 by our Makers Maker Studio team. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location. We also offer self-pickup or delivery via courier within Malaysia
Can you add light or glass on the frame?
No — we currently don’t include lights or glass for safety and durability reasons. Our frames are designed to have a clean matte finish that looks great in any setting.
What color options are available?
We currently offer two beautiful combinations for Crossword Family Name Art
- White combo – clean and minimal look
- Black combo – bold and elegant style
- You can also choose between light and dark pine wood tones for the tiles, depending on your preferred contrast
What are the numbers seen on the right end corner of the tiles?
Those are the Scrabble-style score numbers — just like the original board game! They’re added for an authentic touch and can be kept or removed upon request.
Why are there small knots or lines on the letters and frame?
That’s the natural charm of pine wood 🌲 — each piece has its own unique grain and knots, which make every frame one-of-a-kind. We don’t see them as flaws, but as part of the wood’s character.
